Op internet is zoveel te vinden! Je zou er waarschijnlijk meer dan een mensenleven over doen om alles te zien, lezen, kijken etc. En omdat dat te veel tijd kost natuurlijk, heb ik de leukste links die ik de laatste tijd ben tegen gekomen op een rijtje gezet. Dat kost dus een stuk  minder tijd!

Do It Yourself: Wallpaper

Vandaag een heel simpele DIY. En het klinkt natuurlijk heel ouderwets om een bureaubladachtergrond te maken, maar je kijkt er toch wel elke keer naar en dan kan kijk je natuurlijk het liefst naar iets leuks. En ik heb zelf gekozen voor allemaal knappe jongens :)

Friend-book
I last bought a little notebook -I love notebooks-. And I got an idea. Now I write all kinds of questions -not the same old questions but more what's your biggest dream etc.- and then I give it to my best friend, she does the same and I get het notebook. And then we both fill in the questions, later as we both filled it in we give it back to each other. Then we have always 'information' about the other even when we don't see each other any more.

I'm sorry I didn't post something the last few days.
To make it right here a DIY:
Stripes Ahoy! From the high seas to the haute summer streets, fashionistas have been lining up for this classic nautical look ever since French fashion pioneer Coco Chanel famously incorporated it into her personal resort style. Embraced and carried through the seasons by generations of designers from Jean Paul Gaultier to Marc Jacobs to The Row, stripes stretch beyond trend. Add a dash of DIY by re-purposing a retired T to create the perfect summer pouch with a pop of color, and show us why your motto is stripes and stripes forever! To create, grab a striped tee, turn inside out and wrap rubber bands tightly around each sleeve. Cinch the waist, and wrap two bands around tightly for extra support. Keep in mind, the further down you gather and wrap, the larger your bag will be. Snip a 1/2” inch below each rubber band and flip fabric right side out. Find a long zipper in a fun contrasting color and secure to the opposite sides of the neck by stitching. P.S.- Reinforce stitches by sewing with thread doubled.

To create, reach for your favorite cotton flannel or wool material. You will need approx. 2 yards, depending on the size you desire. First, fold material in half, horizontally. DIY: Cupcakes recipe 2

Coca Cola Cupcakes!

Ingredients:

Part One:

• 1 cup coca cola or other cola drink
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 1/4 cup powdered cocoa
• 22 large marshmallows

Part two:

• 2 cups all purpose flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 2 large eggs, beaten

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line cupcake pans with paper liners. These cupcakes work best with the silver metallic liners.

Part one:

In a small saucepan mix cola, butter, vegetable oil and cocoa. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, and add marshmallows. Place lid on saucepan and leave until marshmallows begin to melt. Stir well.

Part two:

Mix flour, sugar, and baking soda in a large mixing bowl. Add buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla. Mix well.

Combine Part One and Part Two in the mixing bowl. Spoon cupcake batter into cupcake pan liners until they are 1/2 to 2/3 full.

Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Coca Cola frosting:

Ingredients:

• 1/4 cup powdered cocoa
• 6 tablespoons coca cola or other cola
• 1/2 cup butter
• 3 and 3/4 cup powdered sugar (one 1 lb box)
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

In a medium saucepan, mix together cocoa, cola, and butter. Heat over medium heat until melted then bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar, pecans and vanilla. Stir until blended well.

Let frosting cool until stiff enough to frost cupcakes. I've been know to eat the leftover frosting with a spoon!
